My career started in a hair salon in Slovenia. With their help it opened the door to a deeper meaning of hairstyling, and I fell in love with the profession. Since then, I have participated in extensive training courses and have been working for 9 years in high quality hair salons. Because of my deep sense of curiosity and motivation to learn and explore more in life, my heart led me to different countries within Europe where I was living. Exploring different cultures, as well as myself, allowed me to enhance my hairstylist skills and gain a deeper understanding of the varying hair types as well as understand the hairs response to precise circumstances and life events that trigger a reaction within our body.
Since the beginning of my career, I was the biggest critic of cosmetic hair products which promised high results but delivered disappointment to the consumers. Therefore, I felt a call to help others by learning and transferring my knowledge to clients to help them achieve a good look at home with minimal effort.
On the other hand, this was also my biggest motivator to educate myself as much as possible, to extend my knowledge in order to combine it with practical experience.
After 8 years of working in various hair salons in Slovenia and Amsterdam, I decided to move to Portugal where I felt it was time to bring my concept and vision to light, to give the best version of myself and my collected knowledge to society, thus Harmony Holistic Hair Studio was born.
When I am out of the salon, I love to spend my time exploring nature and myself, meditating, doing various exercises which boost my well-being, listening to music, expressing my creativity through paintings, and spending quality time with my loved ones.
